FEES Fund news and latest fundraising activity
1st - 3rd March 2023 - NHSBT & British transplant society congress taking place in Edinburgh
Fi’s mum, our founding FEES Fund trustee Vicki, will be attending the congress and supporting the Living Well, Living Long, Living with Hope session on Thursday. During the session Vicki has been asked to share Fi’s gift of organ donation and also how FEES Funds grew out of a momentum for something positive to come out of such sadness. If you would like to see what Vicki will present, you can see her presentation here.
Fi’s mum and FEES Fund trustee Vicki Caldwell has been involved in developing a number of learning resources inspired by Fi’s gift of organ donation. You can read more about the projects here.
Scottish FEES Fund meet and greet gathering
Fi was proud to be half Scottish and loved her trips to Scotland to see family. They will be gathering on Saturday 4th March to celebrate Fi’s family involvement in the Organ donation congress taking place in Scotland and helping to promote FEES Fund important presences in Scotland. Laura Stobo (Fi’s cousin) is our Scottish based trustee who helps to promote awareness of FEES Fund grants.
At the Scottish gathering FEES Fund trustees also want to thank our very successful Scottish fund raiser Iain who completed the 100 mile ride London event last May and raised with the other FEES Fund riders over £5000. The event will give us the opportunity to thank our Scottish supporters directly and to personally congratulate Emily, one of our Children’s FEES Fund competition winners!
